Chet Thompson is a graduate of the Parker College of Business at Georgia Southern University and joined the Sanford team in 2026. During his time at Georgia Southern, Chet was a member of the university’s nationally recognized Clay Target Team, where he earned back-to-back National Collegiate Shooting titles in 2022 and 2023. His experience competing at the highest level of collegiate shooting reflects the discipline, focus, and commitment he brings to both his professional and personal endeavors.
Raised in a family deeply rooted in the insurance industry, Chet developed an early appreciation for the importance of protecting what matters most. Combined with his diverse background in agriculture, construction, and real estate, he offers clients a unique perspective and a practical understanding of the challenges and risks businesses face every day.
